Provider-neutral architecture
An external provider can implement a capability without becoming authority for MaiLens identity, permissions, project ownership, publication or credits. Provider/model bindings can change while MaiLens retains its own domain authority.
Providers & infrastructure
| Provider / component | Availability | High-level purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Gemini / Google AI | Enabled for speech transcription; other uses depend on configuration | Speech transcription and, when configured, TTS/realtime AI capabilities. |
| OpenAI | Configuration-dependent | AI narrative/generation routes when selected by the operator. |
| Alibaba Cloud DashScope / Qwen / CosyVoice | Configuration-dependent | Text generation/chat and optional ASR/TTS/realtime routes when selected. |
| Stripe | Configuration-dependent | Checkout, subscriptions, billing portal and payment-event reconciliation. |
| SMTP2GO | Configuration-dependent | Transactional account/service email delivery. |
| Google / Apple Identity | Configuration-dependent | Federated sign-in when enabled. |
| PostgreSQL | Core transactional infrastructure | Identity, permissions, production/story/evidence state, billing/credits and audit. |
| Redis | Ephemeral infrastructure | Cache, rate limits, events and transient coordination; not canonical truth. |
| FalkorDB | Derived graph infrastructure | Associative Family-memory projection; not canonical identity/permission authority. |
| FFmpeg / ffprobe | Local deterministic processing | Media inspection, extraction, composition and rendering. |
| Silero VAD ONNX | Bundled/local inference | Speech-presence detection before transcription processing. |
Data minimization & transparency
MaiLens sends providers only the information required for the selected capability. Public pages do not expose provider secrets, internal endpoints, database DSNs, webhook signing secrets or private infrastructure topology.
Where provider/model choice materially affects processing, cost or applicable terms, MaiLens.Studio presents that information transparently in the product experience.
Provider changes
Provider/model availability can change. Material changes to personal-information processing are reflected in provider disclosures and the Privacy Policy. Providers are not presented as active solely because future or optional integration code exists.
